Richard H. Sotheron, an 84 year old widowed white male, died at 3 P.M. on 19 February 1959 at Calvert Co. Hospital, Prince Frederick, MD. His Usual Residence was Charlotte Hall, St. Mary’s Co., Maryland (not a farm). He was born in Virginia on January 3, 1875, to Levin J. Sothoron & Lydia Canter. His Social Security No. was 215-18-1628; he was not an armed forces veteran. Informant was N. S. Sothoron of Charlotte Hall, Md.

- Cause of death was Melena of 9 days’ duration, due to Carcinoma of Stomach. Certification was by Page C. Jett, M.D. of Prince Frederick, who had attended him since Dec 10, 1948 to day of death, last seeing him alive the day of death.

- Burial was at All Faith, Charlotte Hall, Md. On 2/22/59. Arrangements by P. B. Robinson, Leonardtown, Md. (Certificate of Death # 1677, Reg. Dist. No. 1681)

Funeral from the Robinson Funeral Home, Leonardtown, Md., on Sunday, February 22, at 2:15 p.m. Funeral services at All Faith Episcopal Church, Charlotte Hall, Md., at 3 p.m. Interment Church Cemetery. He married Lillian Harrison (born 1-19-1872 at Charlotte Hall, MD, died 7-5-1957 at Charlotte Hall, MD) on 11-21-1906. He was the child of Levin Johnson Sothoron & Lydia Rebecca Canter.
